Default AK in SB

The table was pretty normal. Not many pfr's, many showdowns. I do this probably half the time in the blinds, then check-raise if i hit TPTK. I usually open-raise AK and re-raise limpers on the button and in CO. Thoughts? I just got pokertracker and my PFR is a weakly 11%. my VPIP is ~20%. (This after 1500 hands.)

Default Re: AK in SB

I am guessing you are asking if the limp is okay in the blinds. I typically like to raise to limit the field, but it isn't always great as you are building a pot OOP, and without a made hand. I think mixing it up is alright as well, as you will get paid off by weaker aces for more.

There is a post currently running in the mid/high forum about this, and while it might be different for those games, it is still good to read what smart people have to say. Here is the link to the thread.
