So I was talking with a buddy of mine on Monday about poker stuff, variance, BB/100, all that stuff. We were talking, and he was surprised that I, over 75,000 hands, have never had a bigger downswing than 100BB. I've read posts on here about people having 250+ BB downswings, and I always figured that I'm doing something right. Wouldn't you know it? I'm in the middle (or end?) of a 197 BB downswing as I write. Before this, I was beating $3/6 four tabling at about 1.70BB/100 over 75,000 hands. Now I'm down to 1.49. Not discouraged, not whining, just venting, and hopefully making the Poker Gods aware that I repent for everything thing I said, and I will never doubt thine power again.

Sacrificing a goat at midnight is what we always recommend over here in computer programming land. It doesn't have to be a virgin...
