Default when to check down

I thought one of the callers hit trips..Should I have bet the turn...river...what?

At these levels, people will call you down with any Ace 100% of the time. You're losing a lot of value.

Also, raise more on the flop.

What made you think he had a set and not something like AJ or AQ? He raise preflop so he doesn' have 33 or 55 unless he's a LAG. But if he's a LAG and has a set then he's re-raising the flop or betting the turn. So you have to bet the turn and charge people with AQ or AJ. And if you don't have the cojones to bet the turn you HAVE to bet the river after you're check to twice. I guarantee at this level no one is checkraising the river.

But if you think about it logically, there's no way you're behind in this hand. Therefore you need to bet turn and river to extract the money from AJ and AQ.

edit ignore my typing skillz. they are weak and influenced by tequila.
