Default Paying off the river: good play?

SLAP is VPIP 89.3%, PFR 10.7%, AvgAgg 1.07 after three orbits. Fish is...a fish. VPIP 39%, PFR 2.44%, AvgAgg 0.83 after four orbits.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Pokey is MP3 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 1 fold, MP1 (SLAP) calls, MP2 raises, Pokey 3-bets, 3 folds, BB (Fish) calls, UTG calls, MP1 (SLAP) calls, MP2 calls.

I've got tons of chasers and a raise from someone I don't fear. Reraise is to knock out dead money and also for value.

Flop: (15.50 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 players)
Fish checks, UTG checks, SLAP bets, MP2 calls, Pokey raises, Fish 3-bets, UTG folds, SLAP calls, MP2 folds, Pokey caps, Fish calls, SLAP calls.

Rainbow with no overcards: this flop is perfect for me. Again, I don't believe the trips, so all bets and raises are for value, but if I can knock some fishermen out at the same time, all the better.

Turn: (14.25 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
Fish checks, SLAP checks, Pokey bets, Fish calls, SLAP calls.

Betting the blank when I'm way ahead on pot equity. I like that nobody raises me, here -- I find that comforting.

River: (17.25 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
Fish checks, SLAP bets, Pokey calls, Fish folds.

Final Pot: 19.25 BB

I hate poker. I know I'm beaten, but I'm not going to walk away from 18.25BBs just because someone had the balls to bet the ace.

Thoughts?

19.25 BB......yes, you pay off here. If he's got AJ, oh well. Alot of times he's just betting the scare card (or at least 3 or 4 in 20). Now, if you call and it raised and 3 bet behind you...its an easy muck.
