Default The passive line

One of the first hands of a 30+3

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t15 (10 handed) converter

BB (t370)
UTG (t390)
UTG+1 (t1215)
UTG+2 (t760)
MP1 (t775)
MP2 (t775)
MP3 (t875)
CO (t770)
Button (t1285)
Hero (t785)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, UTG+1 calls t15, 5 folds, Button calls t15, Hero completes, BB checks.

Hero checks, BB checks, UTG+1 checks, Button bets t50, Hero calls t50, BB folds, UTG+1 folds.

Turn: (t157.50) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets t125, Hero calls t125.

River: (t407.50) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets t125, Hero calls t125.

Final Pot: t657.50

I like this line because 1) it keeps the pot small and 2) I think that it maximizes my payoff when I'm ahead while minimizing how much I pay off when behind.

However, it does run the risk of letting worse hands catch up, and things get tricky when the board gets scary and he keeps firing.

So what's your line for this hand, and similar early hands?

Flop I like better if you're closing the action with your call. Given there's two behind you I C/R this.

Turn and river I play the same.
