Default Weak Tight QQ Hand? Stars $10+1

I'm probably second-guessing horribly. My only concern here is that the check on the flop doesn't look like AK, and the river bet doesn't look like KK. I'd held good cards and won a few pots preflop just prior to this.

I'm going to re-raise more pre-flop. With QQ, I want to discourage loose calls from the blinds, and force the original raiser to define his hand. Depending on the player, buy-in, etc., the min-raise could mean A7s, or AA. Try to find out which.

If he calls, and then checks the flop, you need to bet bigger. Anything less than 1/2 the pot screams "I'm weak," and will encourage him to play back at you with hands worse than yours. If he calls a bigger raise, and a real flop bet, you can give him credit for a hand that beats yours, and consider shutting it down.

The micro-bet on the turn is either a value bet with AK/AA/KK, or a weak attempt to steal the pot with AQ. I've got no help here.

Sam
