Oh man, you really missed a bet on that turn. His min bet could easily mean draw (people love to min bet these oop for some bizarre reason) and once the turn is an A you're giving a free gutshot to a q or a j. You're checking because you think you will extract more value on the river, yet you only bet 7 dollars! You should be potting the turn or betting about 3/4 of the pot to make draws pay and good hands call. That A was either a great card for you or an action killer, but checking won't change that. Bet the turn, and if he calls and checks the river bet something like half the pot (this will depend on your image and how you play the river with other hands), but for me a 1/2 to 2/3 pot bet would be fairly standard. Good raise on the flop, maybe make it a little more with a spade draw and a bettor, caller and one more behind you.

Definitely bet the turn. If he was drawing, he made a straight, sure, but you still have outs on the river, but you still don't want to give free cards to the flush draw.

I think that you can definitely bet more on the river and still get paid off.

I wrote how much because I was curious.. so dont take this wrong..

Isn't 20 far too much.. its the turn and the pot is only about 20.

... $12? $15? seem more right to me.

according to the HH, the pot is closer to $30 on the turn.

$20 would be good there.
