Re: AQo from BB
Looks fine to me, although I might have made a slightly smaller continuation bet. Checking, as your OOP with 2 other players, isn't so bad either, although I prefer the bet.

Re: AQo from BB
I'd prefer your line if the flop was something like 952, that way there are a lot less hands that can call you. Anything with an 8 in their hand is calling your 300, plus you get plenty of people at the start of the tourney willing to call you with dumb gutshots. I would probably play it a little more low-key with such an obvious possible draw out there..Save this flop bet for when you got top pair, good kicker.
It's not bad by any means though, aggression in poker never hurt anyone 'cept your opponents. |

Re: AQo from BB
Speaking of aggression with AQ... do you think my play is too wimpy here? I think once i face a big raise, it's too weak to just call, but maybe i could have made an initial raise to 3X BB? But then what would i do if i got one caller and missed the flop? Continue the charade? Is it worth it with such small blinds?

Re: AQo from BB
jenium-
I think folding is definitely your best option in this situation. I also like raising AQo here after the first limper, although I don't think calling here is bad. |

Re: AQo from BB
I like to play AQ in a smallish pot that I feel I can control.
I like your limp from EP here. I also like your fold to the big pre-flop raise. FWIW, this is most likely exactly how I would have played the hand. Yugoslav |
