Re: Verbal IQ test
I scored 134, which is precisely what my IQ was listed as when I graduated from high school. I guess I'm no smarter or dumber than I was 36 years ago.

Re: Verbal IQ test
I scored 16 points lower than my actual IQ. I was drunk as hell, i guess that is a factor.

I'm guessing that "fuck" is not the correct answer to monitor (tote) computer economic (_ _ _ _) agenda. |

Re: Verbal IQ test
This is not an IQ test at all. Whether or not someone has read 1984 or knows who Roebling is or when Voltaire lived can't be part of an IQ test.
Yes, this is partly bitterness, I got 142. And I know the test says it's not "culturally fair", but it's just not an IQ test unless you understand every reference in it. And whether or not you are familiar with all of these can't be a measure of IQ, even if you could argue that an intelligent person should be familiar with each name/date/place. |

1984 [/ QUOTE ] So that's what that bloody "Bloody sock" question was about. I've never read it. I completely agree that this test is not a measure of intelligence. Most of the questions are a measure of knowledge, rather than of intellectual ability. There's a huge difference. |
