The *official* I'm trying to qualify for the WSOP

Hi all

Lets post all your attemps to qualify for the WSOP, for those of you already qualified, please post how many attemps you did, and how did you qualified.
2004 was easy for me, qualified in my 2nd 650 to the WSOP, and in my 1st 650 to Bahamas.

Now I'm 0-2 in the $650 and 0-3 in the double shootout. To the $650 have played like 3 $27 rebuys only, without winning it. Mostly I have bought the W$ from other guys (from about $580 for W$650). So, I think I'm in now like 580+580+3(160) + 3(77) about $1850. All these attempts in PokerStars. I'll keep posting all my new attemps.

two 650's, one 18th fora buyin refund, one third hour bustout.

all the empire tourneys, with a third place finish in one
the intertops 100+0 with a first hour flameout

something on the area of 10 double shootuts with 4-5 three handed attempts to get past the first sng failing...aa has not done my any good there whatsoever

I played four $100+9 supers on UB. First 2 I flamed out in level 2 with AA against flush draws. Third one I never really got my head into and busted out through bad play. Fourth one, I won my seat in a 253 person tourney that awarded top 2 seats, despite being in last place with 6 left (and 5th place having 5x my stack), as I busted out the 6th, 5th, 4th, and 3rd place finishers, the last with 88 vs AQ. In for $436 all told.

2 $650 attempts on PS. One double shootout. One $200 on FTP. I kind of want to stop trying, but my friends believe in me so much and want to see me in the WSOP, that I may try again. I just don't really like sats - never won one.

I almost feel bad because I didn't even have my eye on going, and didn't care too much if I ended up getting there and won the empire freeroll, and I see how much this is paining some to be out of it right now.

Played 3 double shootouts, never made it past first table once (got HU once and got all in on the flop to win w/ TPTK vs. flush draw, lost and was soon out.)

Tried to qualify for the $650 a few times (some rebuys, some STT) with no luck. I've been spending too much money on it, I'll sit back and make some more money at limit before I try again.
