focus on more marginal situations, read up on some hands and try commenting on them. if there was another player involved, you should jam the pot. HU, meh. don't give the results.

I'm fine with this.

Edit - Oops, cap it pre-flop

the play is meh, it varies by opponents. you can't put him on AK that quickly. read some other hands rather than posting monster hand slowplays. its a much better use of your time.

did you have your sunglasses on too?

seriously, putting an opponent on one hand is just wrong. it should be a range. that narrows. as you get information.

heads-up this is not a bad way to play your hand.

what btspider means about reading up is that you will improve you game by focusing on non-obvious and more marginal situations. does it really matter if you get an extra bet here or there when you flop a set, then improve to a full house? how many times does that happen? in contrast, how often are you playing QJo preflop?

I think the right way to handle this sort of post-flop situation is pretty read-dependent. Against a LAG, I'd likely raise the flop then try for the stop n' go if 3-bet. Against a more passive opponent, this line seems ok.

Either way I'd cap it preflop dude.

I guess its just that he didn't play a hand for a good hour and i put him on a top hand, and just wished for slick.....Bad play my part.
