I'd just coldcall preflop. I think the rest is fine.

entity-
I responded in another thread today ( cold calling ) about possibly 3-betting KQs and mid pairs after a handful of cold callers and EP raise. Am I wrong abot 3-betting KQs here? |

[/ QUOTE ] nah, don't reopen the betting. it *might* be correct to cap an EP/MP limp-reraiser if you raised a bunch of limpers in LP. the limpers hands are likely to be a tad weaker than cold-callers' range. also, the LRR is probably less likely to have you dominated than a straightforward EP raise. i think SSH does this with ATs in one example. |

[/ QUOTE ] I'd coldcall with both KQs and 88 in that situation (same goes for 99). I'd be more likely to 3-bet if the raise came from later position and there were less callers trapped in between. KQs is a great hand, but I'd rather see a flop and feel it out from there. If 3-betting KQs is an error it isn't a huge one, but I prefer coldcalling and seeing a flop. I just don't feel that my hand has a significant edge over the number of UTG raising hands I'm seeing. Rob |
