Default Low Stakes Tournament Play

I play mainly low stakes tournaments online. I do this for two reasons.

1) My wife wont let spend much on poker.
2) I think Raises get some respect in a tournament because while many players dont care about losing an extra dollar or two. They do want to win.

Not sure if my logic makes sense to anyone but me.

So here is my question. What is the best resource to get better at playing the end of a tournament. I very often get 2nd or 3rd in a SnG but I have trouble winning the tourney. Sometimes I am ok with the 2nd or third becuase I got it because I played short stacked well enough to make the cut. Other times I have a commanding chip lead and I let it slip away

Thanks

GM

Heads up SNGs. I know Stars has them at low buyins.
