Default Intimidated/weak-tight in B&M/casino play?

I have played poker for less than a year now and really enjoy it. Thanks to the 2+2 website, etc., I have become a winning player at .5/1 limit, $25 NL and $10 SNGs. So I'm doing ok. My natural tendency is probably "weak tight", but I have consciously added aggression to my online play with adequate results.

I have noticed however, that when I go to a casino (not very often) I tend to be much more intimidated by the other players and play weak-tight. (By the way, I'm not playing at real high levels in the casino--3/6 limit mostly (and a little no-limit); The 3/6 seems to play like .5/1 online).

Have others experienced this? Any thoughts or advice?

Most likely you do not have a big enough bankroll and you are afraid of losing it all in live play. While the game may play like the .5/1 game, the bankroll requirement is six times as big!

Once you have enough that you won't worry about losing it all in one night, then you can give it a try again.

btw - Live play is not for everyone. If it ain't your cup of tea, then it ain't your cup of tea.

Here's my advice: Don't be such a wuss.

Just kidding!

Demana's advice is good. Don't play in a 3/6 game until you won't care when you lose 25BB.
