Just sat down, no reads. Biggest thing is the flop raise, I think it was bad

Just out of curiosity, why do you think the flop raise was bad?

With the player behind, you should worry more about protecting your hand than saving a small bet.

I think this is fine. I like the flop raise to try and buy the button.

well break it down

if he has AA,KK,TT he has you in bad shape and a raise is bad(but that is only 15combos)

if he has JJ,99, AK, AQ, AJ, AT or worse you want him to continue to bet at you but the pot is big so raising to win it on the spot or on the turn might be better, also having a player behind you makes it a more attractive play

another option is to call the flop, raise the turn

i cap the flop and go from there. Occasionally, very occasionally, i will fold this on the river unimproved.

peace

I think the 3bet indicates u might be behind AA, KK or TT, other likelys are JJ, QQ or ATs but im pretty sure your behind and i dont think hes holding a 6 but with no reads we cant be sure. The raise on the flop seemed fine as you could have the best hand. I think its a calldown also. How are my thoughts??

Heads up, yeah. You're 4 handed though, so I think you need to find the best way to leverage out the Button.

If you raise the flop you're giving him about 8.5:1 on a call. He's probably got at most four outs (unlikely), but more likely closer to two.

I think the flop raise is fine, but I also think a case could be made for calling the flop and raising the turn.
