Default online 20-40--how would you play this A-9 hand?

In a middle position I get A-9 offsuit. A limper to me and I decide to raise (steam play?). A cold caller and loose button reraises. BB calls cold and the pot is five handed for three bets each. Flop is J-10-9 with two clubs. Checked to me.

Would you bet? I checked and it was checked around. Turn is the deuce of hearts. Check to me and I bet. Do you agree? Two callers including the button and big blind. River is the six of clubs. Your move. I will post results later.

Big blind checked, I checked, and button bet. BB folded and I called. My pair of nines was good.
