Default Autorate rules

Any consensus about which set of PT autorate rules is the most useful: the default rules provided with PT (~BisonBison's rules), the rules suggested by PokerTrackerGuide (which include WSD%), or any others you may have seen?

If you are on a room that supports either PlayerView or GameTime, I wouldn't use them at all.

Develop your own auto-rate rules that exploit the tendancies of your opponents that can be determined statistically.

If you really want to use the auto-rate function, then I'd go with Bison's rules.

Right now the autorate rules are limited by the hard coded limit on player icon/flavors in Poker Tracker. Adding custome icons is on Pat & Mike's todo list, but I doubt it will be any time soon since the icons are hard codeded at the moment. Maybe I will remind them again.

bisons and the default ones are set up for Limit
the bet-the-pot PT guide ones for low stake NL

but categorisations are secondary to seeing and using the actual stats with overlay software like GT+ or PV
