Default Reccomend a Laptop

I'm looking to spend 1000 to 1500ish, nothing fancy, just as a poker, internet machine. Gaming is not likely.

So far I have my eye on a Dell Inspiron 6000m for $1049.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt

you can probably score a 9300 with wuxga (more than enough to 4-table with no overlap) for 1500 or less

I bought a 6000 recently because it was so cheap with all the internet codes and the discount they were running. I bought it just for poker when I am on the road.

I can 4 table w/o overlap and run PT and GT+ fine. For only $800 it does what I want fine.

Plus how disposable laptops are, I won't feel as bad about chunking it in a year or so when its crap. Like I have before with 2-3k laptops.

If it's just for poker you shouldn't have to chuck it for a really long time.

I am looking at a 6000 right now for $705. The monitor specs say it has a 15.4" UltraSharp XGA display. Is this adequate to 4-table without overlap?

I thought I would need a UXGA or more to 4-table. I am not sure what the "UltraSharp" gets me in terms of resolution.
