in my opinion, villain only has 3 or 4 possible hands...

1. jt...would explain the 175 call and his raise...he may have called pf because he had position and jt isnt all that bad of a hand

2. aj...again explains the call with position but i dont know about his call of 175 with no pair

3. aa...very sneaky if he slowplayed it, but seems to me like an outside chance from the way he played it. i think he wouldve raised all-in after the flop if he had aces

4. tt...self-explanatory...made his move when the ten hit

in three of these cases youre pretty much screwed, but over half your chips are already in the pot. i say push and hope for aj

keep in mind tho...i play the 5.50's, not the 55s =)

JT sucks against a raise. Hell, at a full table it sucks against no raise unless it's sOOted.

You've still got 8 outs to beat him if he's got JT. I don't think your odds are quite there....

Only other hand I can see him playing like this is QQ or TT.

Edit or 88/22/JJ of course. It's DAMN hard to lay down KK, but based on the action I can't see anything you beat here (except a horribly played AJ) and the odds aren't there to try and catch up.

I think JJ is also a possiblity, along with AJ and 88 (though slightly less so)

This looks like the pretty typical betting pattern of someone with pocket Jacks or Pocket 8s by the way. It doesn't mean they aren't an idiot, though, and overplaying AJ.

I sometimes go broke trying to answer this question. As I'm sure you did/ or considered.

You did protect. With kings I might raise to 120 or so preflop, but that might just be chicken of me.

On the turn with your stack and the pot where they are, I don't see how you can fold. There are a few possible hands you can beat, like QQ, 99, Ah9h, AhQh, AJ or you could suck out and hit bigger trips.
