Default Knocked out in 10 place--should I have folded JJ?

I'm an inexperienced tourney player who would appreciate comments and constructive criticism from more experienced players about how I screwed up on this hand. I went out in 10th place in the Stars $10 MTT early this morning on this hand; but just minutes earlier I had plans of coasting into the final six before taking any big chances---unless a premium hand came along that is. MP (t213301)
Button (t27420)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Flop: (t148362) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)

River: (t148362) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)

Final Pot: t148362

Results in white below:
Hero has Jh Js (two pair, aces and jacks).
MP has Ad Qc (three of a kind, aces).
Outcome: MP wins t148362.

why do you think you screwed up? Because you didn't win?
In poker you can do the right thing and still lose.

I was expecting to say yes, since in the early rounds of a SNG you can often avoid putting in all your chips with JJ.

But this is a MTT where you have 12BBs in your stack and are at a 5-handed table. Folding JJ here would be criminal.

The MTT forum might be a better place for this.
