in retrospect, i think this is a fold. utg had been very loose, so i thought there was a good chance he'd fold and some chance he'd call with a worse hand, because he was terrible.

Even though your read may be right, I think there is just too much gamble in this play at this stage of the tourney.

If you were on the button, and the limper in the CO I have no problem with your raise. But given your position and the stacks to your left, I'm not too hot on the idea of a push here. With the blinds about to hit you, the big stacks will put you on a wide range of hands, and may look you up with a lone ace. Also, you've got the button sitting there at t600, like a little tiny hand grenade with the pin pulled. If he has anything approaching a reasonable hand, he's coming along as well. In short, the chances are too good that your push is going to be called rather than take down the blinds.
