Default Cable Hacker wanted (NOT for theft)

Does anyone out there work for the cable company, or have first-hand knowledge of digital cable code? I am NOT looking to steal cable, or hack their system or do anything illegal. I am trying to get info on some very bizarre behavior I experienced from my cable box. Comcast is beyond unhelpful.

Specifically, if you know about Comcast's On-Demand service, that would be perfect, but anyone who thinks they could help would be very appreciated.

Please PM me if you think you can help. I don't want to post my problem or use my usual forum name. Probably overly paranoid, but better safe than sorry.

Thanks.

There is no way this problem can be that serious, and you did create a new name. Just tell us what it is.
