Default SuitedSixes Sees a Flop

I am trying to develop my post flop muscles, I decided on the flop I was going to try to pick this up on the turn if everybody showed weakness and play it like I would if I had a monster. How did I do?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t15 (10 handed) converter

CO (t770)
Button (t705)
SB (t665)
BB (t785)
UTG (t800)
SuitedSixes (t800)
UTG+2 (t800)
MP1 (t990)
MP2 (t800)
MP3 (t885)

Preflop: SuitedSixes is UTG+1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls t15, SuitedSixes calls t15, 2 folds, MP2 calls t15, MP3 calls t15, 1 fold, Button calls t15, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (t102.50) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (7 players)
SB checks, BB bets t15, UTG calls t15, SuitedSixes calls t15, MP2 folds, MP3 calls t15, Button folds, SB calls t15.

Turn: (t177.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, SuitedSixes checks, MP3 bets t30, SB folds, BB calls t30, UTG folds, SuitedSixes raises to t230, MP3 folds, BB folds.

Final Pot: t467.50

Yeah generally fold KQo in early position, but in the $33 and less buyins I might gamble and call.

Once you get to the turn it certaintly doesn't look like anyone has anything, but I think you just got lucky here. Generally running bluffs like this when 7 people see the flop is bad for business.

Oh ya, I also fold this pre-flop.

This might be a gross overstatement, but from my experience in 10s and 20s, a min bet at any time before the blinds get to around 50-100 means either the bettor has nothing/something that will be folded to a reasonable raise, or a monster hand.

The split between these two is like 80% nothing and its a pretty safe way to pick up an extra 50 or so at the start when people dont really care. With so many people in the pot it's a bit scarier, but min bet calls are usually even a bigger sign of weakness.

These people will draw to any old garbage, and it's an almost perfect flop for everyone to have hit some of.

Maybe take your card for 30 to try and make your gutshot, but basically do nothing here.
