both hands look good. unless ive seen villain in hand 1 chase to the river with overcards, and checkraise top pair, your call line is more than appropriate.

What about the turn check in hand 2? I wasn't sure about what to do at all on this turn against an unknown.

Edit: To be honest I really wanted to check raise the turn, but I whiffed. Is that even a decent line?

i think its ok. its really hard to think your hand is still good here after the flop action. unlss you feel comfortable folding to a turn raise, which you shouldnt against an unknown i think checking is reasonable. i could be wrong however.

So I am assuming it is a bad idea to go for a check raise on this turn because CO will check his draws and bet the hands that have me beat (except for maybe AJ)??
