Default High ITM isn\'t everything-> (50+5) 42% ITM, -1.5% ROI

out of curiosity, i looked to see who i played the most against. to my surprise, in the hundreds of SnGs i've played, the most i;ve played against someone is 12 times.

he has a 42% ITM, which is better than mine. but is -1.5% ROI. he finished 1st once, 3rd four times.

just goes to show you that you can have -ROI even with 42% ITM.

I don't follow your math; possible I don't get it?...but if you have 12 $55SnG's and villian has 4 ITM's = $800; that's an ITM = 33% & ROI = 20%....???

he had 5 itm's.. one 1st, and four 3rds = $650

5/12 = 41.67%

12 55's = $660

so he's down $10, or 1.5%

I take it you didn't get your plush office by being a CPA

Isn't one first (500) plus four thirds (400) = 900

I'm experiencing a similar dilemma -- 39% ITM, 9% ROI (at least its positive).

Part of the problem is I'm at $5+$1 (flame away), but high ITM doesn't necessarily make you a winning player.

huh?

50+5:
1st=250
2nd=150
3rd=100

you're thinking 100+9

I don't think there's any reason to flame for playing at the $5+1s, except for the obvious rake problem on Party. Play the $5+.50 on Stars or UB instead.
