Default Banned by Captain Cook\'s Casino

Just tried to log in to clear the final 1000 of my wagering requirement, and I can't as the Casino have blocked my account.

Wtf?

What can I do? I have £300 in there.

send an e-mail and check your login user id and password. Check your mail. Sometimes they send you two passwords because of double processing. When you try your old one they log you out after 3 mistries.

I never mistried. My account and password were fine, but they locked me out.

Just wondering - is there any chance they figured me for a bonus whore and thus closed my account down before I could clear the bonus. Can they do this?

This happened to me at Kings just as I was clearing my deposit last night. I was at 300+ with 2000 hands to play. I woke up to find my acoount locked. I emailed them.

Greetings to ye XXXXX.

Thanks for your message.

I'm afraid that your account has been locked, so I will have to forward this onto a supervisor so that they can respond...

The next supervisor on shift will respond to you, but this could take up to 12 hours I'm afraid.

This is very troubling. I had screwed up a password on cooks and they immediately reactivated my account when I emailed them. Not so this time with kings and I don't think I screwed anything up. All I can think of is that I cashed out both Classic and Cooks last night. I bet their whore alert went off. I gambled my money aqainst theirs. They lost. They offer a deal that is mathematically bad for them and get mad when people beat them? Can they really refuse to give me my money back? I will start a major sh[/i]it storm if I don't get my money.

I got the same "12 hours" email.

Ahoy there Dean.

Thanks for your message.

Unfortunately I will have to forward this onto a supervisor my friend, as I'm not sure why it was locked.

I apologise for the delay, but it will take approximately 12 hours for them to respond.
Kindest regards,

from their terms-and-cond. page:
[ QUOTE ]

Bonuses are promotional credits deposited into an account of Player by the Company. Bonuses may include, but not be limited to, signup, monthly and other promotional bonuses and ex-gratia payments.

6
Unless otherwise stated in the rules or conditions of a Bonus the following rules and conditions (“Standard Wagering Requirements”) apply:

6.1 The Company reserves the right, and without notice, to retract or withdraw any Bonuses deposited to an account of the Player when these Standard Wagering Requirements are not met within 7 days of the Bonus being deposited.

6.8
The minimum amount you may transfer from your Bonus Account to your Deposit Account is 50 credits, regardless of the currency of the Player account.

General Conditions

7
In the event of a dispute between the Company and the Player, the Company will be the sole judge of the dispute and no further correspondence will be entered into. We reserve the right, exercisable in our sole discretion, to change the terms, conditions or rules of, discontinue or cancel any Bonus at any time for any reason whatsoever and without notice.

10
The Company reserves the right to conduct security and fraud checks on all withdrawal requests and may, at it's sole discretion with-hold payment of withdrawals until such security and fraud checks have been completed.

11
Where the Player deposits money into a Deposit Account using a Credit Card, Firepay or Citadel, the Company reserves the right to refuse the deposit unless the Player confirms the deposit by providing an authorising signature.

[/ QUOTE ]
Basically, they may void the bonus, but it does not sound like they will keep you deposit, (although I have no idea).
I have just completed Kingdom & Cook's. I deposited into Classic last night at 11 pm. They gave me the $11 sign up bonus, but I have yet to receive the 100% match. (I did send the email).

Are they a U.K. based firm? Because there is a legal provision called the UTCCR (something like Unfair Terms in Contract Conditions Regulation) which says that even if you agree to a contract, if the stipulations are basically ridiculous, then they don't have to adhere to them.

Sec. 5 Unfair Terms (1) A contractual term which has not been individually negotiated shall be regarded as unfair if, contrary to the requirement of good faith, it causes a significant imbalance in the parties’ rights and obligations arising under the contract, to the detriment of the consumer. (2) A term shall always be regarded as not having been individually negotiated where it has been drafted in advance and the consumer has therefore not been able to influence the substance of the term. (3) Notwithstanding that a specific term or certain aspects of it in a contract has been individually negotiated, these Regulations shall apply to the rest of a contract if an overall assessment of it indicates that it is a pre-formulated standard contract. (4) It shall be for any seller or supplier who claims that a term was individually negotiated to show that it was. (5) Schedule 2 to these Regulations contains an indicative and non-exhaustive list of the terms which may be regarded as unfair.
