Default Matte fixative a must for labels

I just finished applying fixative to my new labels from Lynbark. I used a matte Krylon. The improvement over the plain white is dramatic. Never mind the extra protection, the fixative adds a textured matte 'real inlay' look that can't be beat. You can't tell from a picture so you'll have to take my word for it but believe me, I am very picky and it looks great.

Applied before or after placing the decals on the chips?

Before, but I could see doing it after, any overspray on the actual chip would wear off quickly I think. But it more efficient in terms of wastage to do them on the sheets.

I agree - the matte finish really adds a lot. The feel of it is great and makes the labels feel more "real" if that makes any sense.

If I ordered labels, I'd probably want a price on getting them sealed with the fixative before they came to me. Any thoughts on pricing for that service?

That Krylon stuff smells like ass so if people ask for it from me I charge $3/sheet. Its alot but you dont have to deal with the smell of that stuff in your house.

How many labels / sheet?

(I agree that I wouldn't want to screw with it!)
