Default David Sklansky - too good to miss

Rather buried on the WPT forum is a thread in which David Sklansky makes the following - truly unmissable - statement:

"If there is a God, he is like me."

No doubt he would say I have quoted him out of context, but ....

I don't know how to post the URL for his post, but it's the second in a thread called "Letter to David Sklansky".

Oh no!! Not again!

"If there is a God, he is like me. He doesn't want you to merely believe in him. He wants you to appreciate his stuff. I don't like it when a fawning fan says they saw me on TV unless they also talk about the inticacies of my check raise. God doesn't like it if you haven't spent some time marveling how relativity and DNA serve to make the universe wht it is. A fawning fan who merly believes in him but doesn't take the time to study physics and chemistry at all disgusts him. The atheist who does study that stuff will upon death, be surprised if he encounters God, but God will more likely want him around than the bimbo who doesn't truly appreciate him."

That thread is another example of why El Diablo is the greatest poster ever.

I hear this over and over again. I guess I must miss his best stuff. Don't get me wrong, his posts are obviously very well worth reading, I guess I just miss the posts that make him known for "wit" and being the "greatest poster ever".

Eh, the post linked to had wit. I just don't think I run into those posts that much. It seems like I read 20 posts by astroglide, nickle, Joe Tall, Barry, Stellarwind, Entity, M. Davis, sthief, The Dude, NT, Dynasty, adios, Evan, MMMMMM, zeno and countless others before I run into an El. D. post. So I think I just don't run into them.
