Hollywood Sex
So I was thinking the other day, whenever there is a sex scene in a high qualitly movie with grade A actors and all, how exactly do they do the sex scene?
Do there genitalia actually touch? Because as far as I can remember, in some movies the girl is clearly completely naked, and although they usually don't show the dude's dude there is no sign a clothing on the dude from the side shot. Do any of them actually do it? |

Re: Hollywood Sex
I think they just use skin-toned really tight underwear.

Re: Hollywood Sex
I would think that it would be in proper form for the guy to rub one off immediately before taping to hopefully either prevent or delay the erection.

Re: Hollywood Sex
I have heard that actresses are actually offended if the guy does not get an erection during a sex scene,

Re: Hollywood Sex
I'm a director and have filmed sex scenes, both mainstream and pornographic. Obviously in the pornos, they're really doing it....although there are lots of things you don't see that happens beforehand - douching, viagra, etc.
In mainstream, whether the actors are clothed or not, the sex scene is normally completely choreographed - just like a a dance scene. Depending on the actress or actors comfort level, they will either get naked or wear what are called "modesty garments," - sock-like or thong-like skin-colored coverings. Whether or not the actor gets "excited" or not is something that is usually not discussed except between the two actors. Obviously, the actor can't help it, if he does or he doesn't get wood. It is not at all "sexy," to film or to act in. In fact, it's a lot more difficult to film than most other scenes are. Sometimes, if there's nudity or simulated sex involved, the set is cleared of all but essential crew members - for the actor's comfort level. Famous story with Clark Gable - he was about to film a love scene in bed with an actress - they were wearing undergarments under the sheets but were very close, in a heated embrace. Clark said, "Excuse me if I get excited and excuse me if I don't." |
