Default Stardust Poker room?

Anyone ever play there? We're planning a trip back and I like the look of the casino. Trying to figure out some places to stay that we've never stayed before.

Anyway, I know they have a small room there with 1-5 stud and LL HE, but curious if anyone has ever played the room and what their thoughts were.

TIA.

Played it once about 3 years back. Rock hard retirees and absolutely no action. Try the 4-8 at either the monte carlo or mandfaly bay. 1-2 blinds and a half kill when someone wins two pots in a row. Great games and each room has individual jackpots for hands over aces full. Good luck.

Clarkmeister has played there a few times recently with his girlfriend. He says there can be lots of action when the bad beat jackpot gets big (it seems to be routinely over $50,000). A unique part of their game is that a bet and five raises is allowed. That's 6 bets per street.

The room has ten tables. I've never cared for the Stardust's room because I think it's a bit dark. The tables are lit with lights that hang just 7-8 feet above the table.

I played there once about two years ago. The action was good, but that was because it was a sunday afternoon/night during football season, and lots of people were sweating out football bets playing cards.

While I was there they started up a No Limit Hold'em game(The buy in was only $50). I have never seen a table getting into fights so frequently.

The Stardust is the last place in L.V.that I would play..If you dont get cheated,or pick pocketed there's a good chance you'll get mugged in the parking lot..There are just too many good card rooms in vegas to mess with the Dust...Oh ya ,and the smoke....
