Default Outs with AK

This is my third or fourth hand at the table, so no reads on BB or MP1.

PokerRoom 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
3 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, 1 fold, Hero raises, 2 folds, BB calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls.

Flop: (8.40 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB bets, MP1 calls, MP2 folds, Hero calls.

How many outs would you estimate for the overcards? Add 1.5 for the backdoor flush. Getting 10.5 to 1 here, a call seemed reasonable.

Turn: (5.20 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB bets, MP1 calls, Hero...

Getting 7.2 to 1 seems to indicate a fold.

Be careful when you say 1.5 for the bd flush here. you hold the K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] not the A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Hero definately folds the turn.

I would seriously consider raising this flop and hopefully taking a free card on the turn. If a K or A or [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] comes on the turn I would bet again (hopefully it is the A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]).

I like just calling here. If raising gave me the opportunity to clean up overcard outs, I'd raise it up.
