Default Poll: Tight like tiger?

I was recently told by somone that a multitabler should only be playing around 10% of their hands. I thought that this was too tight to be possible. I am just curious, how many hand are all you multitablers playing?

That just defies logical thinking. You should play many tables the same as you play one table if it's a winning style for you.

I think your game is weak if you tighten up just because you are multi-tabling.

That is what i thought, but i wasn't sure. He told me that way it eliminates the time needed to think about marginal hands.

You should tighten up in really marginal spots because you're more apt to misplay and they might not be +EV anymore. You should also tighten up in marginal spots when you've entered a pot at a few other tables, particularly if you have good but not great holdings in large, multiway pots.

If your percentage dips by over 1% you are overadjusting.

I'm amazed at how many chose 11-15. I'd like to know who is playing 15% or less of their hands and why.

I am usually somewhere around 12%. I don't know why exactly. However with the change in party NL blind structure my VPIP will go up.

If you have some specific questions on the why part it may help me answer it. Mostly I just found that was best for me.
