Default River decision

Guys are pretty straight forward bad players on this site. Call down with trash but when they bet they usually got it. I'm wondering about river. I know nothing about Roscoe. Jeff often over plays his hands.

it sucks but folding would be a disaster if you're actually ahead

I folded.

Roscoe shows AJ, Jeff shows AJ for a split pot.

I was talking this over with bicyclekick and he thought it was a pretty bad fold.

I was reconsidering the river action, yes, Roscoe waking up doesn't look good, especially after all the action PFR and on the flop and turn. So we are hoping he has AJ.

Since it went bet and call, we should call. If it went bet and raise, then we could fold.

I understand my mistake, it's embarassing, just a wake up, don't fold in big pots when closing the action for one bet.

I think the reason I made this mistake was because I got caught up in the fact I have tried to play my hand very aggressive preflop, flop, and turn, and kept finding constant aggression from Jeff and then one person stuck inbetween all of a sudden waking up threw me off so much I folded incorrectly.

It's often easier to get things right when you have time to think things out. Here's to becoming better.

There is no way in hell I'm folding here for one bet closing the action.

You have to call 1 bet in a 19 BB pot... so you think you're losing 95% of the time here? I don't, and you really have to call.

Time to reread some Ed Miller posts, LOL.

Don't be to embarrassed. I made a very similar fold last night with even worse results. The pot wasn't quite as big but big enough. It happens. Even though it's a mistake it isn't as big of a mistake as it feels.

I removed the LOL from the posts, because I almost puked when I saw you folded this river closing the action for 1 bet....that's serious bad.

Serious!? To me, from what I've read, this is THE mistake not to make.

In saying so, I'm not trying to embarass anyone...just have read so much of Ed Miller ranting on this topic...
