Default To Mat: A way to override post edit timeout

Assuming the software does not allow this timeout to be changed, there is a possible workaround. If an undetctable change is made to a post every few minutes, I believe the timer may start over. If editing a post does not reset the timer, deleting the entire post and reposting it certainly will. I could write a script to do this, but that would waste bandwidth. Better it be done locally.

Default Re: To Mat: A way to override post edit timeout

We have the ability to lengthen the amount of time one can edit their posts, but we have specific reasons not to. If people feel strongly about this, we will consider lengthening the time, at least temporarily. Mat
