Does this raise scream of aces?
This is a Party $22. I know I made the right play, but how should this hand be played at the higher levels, namely $55-$215?
UTG raises to 100. I have KK, which I'm obviously not folding preflop. I can't shake the feeling that the raiser has AA, but I'd make that same raise with QQ-AA. I called and doubled up, but it got me thinking... Do you higher level players give people more credit at the higher levels? For example, if I were holding QQ would it be right to fold at the higher levels in this situation? BTW, you really can't give the $22 players much credit. I'm not even done typing this post, I've already quadrupled up, and the BB is still 30. Re: Does this raise scream of aces?
fix hand history
I'd assume UTG raised you allin. this often does not mean AA and is -EV to fold kings here. more often you see AK/AQs/ 99~QQ you made the right move. congrats |

Re: Does this raise scream of aces?
History is messed up.
I put him all-in on the flop even. He called with JT and I doubled up. I didn't give him much credit cause it was only a $22. Even at a $215 can the play be this bad? |

Re: Does this raise scream of aces?
Early on I have found people pushing with crazy hands. I'd stick w/ Harrington's advice that he offers in his new book. Preflop w/ cowboys, push no matter what as you'll make more money that way than on the times you fold, as you're rarely against rockets. w/ a raggy flop, I'd say that confidence should usually remain, especially early when you have virtually no read other than impending sense of doom.
