Default New Poster, Just A Few Questions

Hello, Ive been a reading a whole lot of the posts on this forum and have found them all incredibly helpfull. I figured i should actually sign up and get some input on my own hands and situations. For my first post, i just wanted to ask a few questions. (For online poker) I tend to play low limit games such as .25/.5 and .5/1 NL 6 person tables.

1. What do you usually do when you flop top pair w/ a medium to bad kicker, and theres flush and/or straight draw possibilities for others. Is it safer to just see the turn before betting out your top pair?

2. How do you usually play QQ and JJ to monster raises preflop?

3. Are there any books tailored towards online NL poker specifically?

Sorry if any of these questions arent specific enough. Im quite tired right now, but thanks in advance for your answers.

Fairly new here too, so I may be off base a bit but I think you need to post real hands for any real help.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (9 handed) converter

BB ($25)
Hero ($31.95)
UTG+1 ($25)
MP1 ($27.30)
MP2 ($9.75)
MP3 ($70.80)
CO ($38.40)
Button ($3.70)
SB ($7.55)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. UTG+1 posts a blind of $0.25.
Hero calls $0.25, UTG+1 (poster) checks, 2 folds, MP3 calls $0.25, CO calls $0.25, Button calls $0.25, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($1.75) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (7 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $1, UTG+1 folds, MP3 raises to $2, CO folds, Button calls $2, SB folds, BB folds, Hero raises to $5, MP3 raises to $8, Button calls $1.45 (All-In), Hero calls $3.

Turn: ($21.20) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players, 1 all-in)
Hero checks, MP3 checks.

River: ($21.20) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players, 1 all-in)
Hero checks, MP3 checks.

Final Pot: $21.20

To explain the preflop action, there'd been a couple of maniacs pushing all in a fair amount of the time, so I figured LRR was perfect... now, the flop action scared the bejesus out of me, but at the same time kinda made me giggle. What do you do here?

1. Just the opposite. Make a value bet. Say 2/3 of the pot..maybe even 1/2 the pot. If the other guy missed the flop completely, he'll most likely fold. If he re-raises you big, fold. But you've got to know where you at. If that flush draw hits in the turn, then your totally lost and confused and have to fold to any bet, which is a very weak way to play...ESPECIALLY 6 handed

2. On the tables your playing on, these hands can be played much more aggressively. I do think flat calling with JJ is correct more of the time. With QQ sometimes I re-raise sometimes I flat call.

3. Very few. Anything 2+2 puts out is quality. Matthew Hilger wrote a book on internet hold'em...but it's not particularly insightful, it has very little to do with "internet poker".
