Fold this on the flop ?
I swear I'll never understand the .25/.50 NL player.
9 9 in MP Hero $70 EP2 EP1 Everyone limps. 5 or 6 see the flop EP1 is clueless EP2 is a tight solid player Flop: T 9 7 pot= 2 (all I could think was why is he betting $5 into a $2 pot...and why is this guy raising so much with a possible straight on board) EP1 bets $5 EP2 raises to $10 Hero ?? I figured someone flopped the straight. Is that too paranoid ? So I folded this one. I would have won a huge pot. Villain had set of 7's. 3 hands later. 6 6 Flop: 6 7 8 3 people see flop Turn: A I raise here to $12 Everyone calls of course River: puts 3 spades on the board Villain bets $5 I call and he show A J suited spades. So I fold when I should call and call when I should fold. Things are going good once again. Hooray |

Re: Fold this on the flop ?
I think I'm tired. I was almost getting 2 to 1 on the call anyway. The correct play without a doubt was to call that or push all-in. I'm 2 to 1 to complete to the full house even if I was behind. God, that was horrible. BYE BYE ++ EV. Bye....see you later.

Re: Fold this on the flop ?
It doesnt' get much worse than this as far as play goes. This is pretty bad.
What was I thinking. I was thinking about the queens and the monotone board. The guy wasn't that solid I guess. He was raising like he had the nuts. EP1 was just plain dumb and short stacked. What made it worse is that the money I would have won on that hand would have compensated for the money lost on the next hand where I got rivered by a spade. I think if I had gone all-in on the turn he would have called because he had top pair and a flush draw and he wasn't giving that up. |

I should have went to bed. Now I won't get anymore hands because I threw away my chance at a big pot.
