Default Best Single Moment In Sports

This is a spin off of Oski's post where he asked for the best regularly occuring moment in sports. What is your personal favorite moment in all of sports history.

I'm gonna have to say 2 here

1. Laettner's shot against Kentucky (for obvious reasons)

2. Bo Kimble's left-handed free throw

I broke my hand by punching a wall when this happened. Not my best moment.

I'll go with the 1998 Regional Final rematch when the Cats came back from down 17 with under 10 minutes remaining. Although Anthony Epps hitting the last second 3 to send the '97 championship game into OT is a close 2nd.

Also, the moment in my avatar was pretty sweet. The umps getting the call correct on Slappy was an omen.

Everytime I see "The Catch" I get goosebumps even though I wasn't even born at the time.

I get the same feeling every time I see the Kimble free throw, even though when it happened I was 5 and had no idea what the story was behind it.

Being a huge the-sport-formerly-known-as-hockey fan I'm going to go with the 1980 US Miracle on Ice victory over Russia.

Seeing as I'm English, yet curious, would either of you like to give me the story behind these? Thanks.
