Default Wow

In less than 24 hours I dropped almost 100 bb on paradise. Truly amazing 2nd best hands and some furocious beats (AA losing 4/5 times, twice while flopping a set, didn't help). Thankfully its just 2/4 heh, and I have a (somewhat) decent bankroll to back me up, but geeeeeeez, that's gotta be some kind of record - well not really. The worst part is I actually went on tilt for the first time in months, not terrible tilt, just "he's probably bluffing" tilt

There's not really any point to this whining, just, I dunno, next time any of you feel yourself losing control just walk away, its better than having to spend another couple pointless weeks rebuilding like me. Ugh.. I'm taking a week off, I don't even want to think about this. Cya.

p.s. my favorite:

Default Re: Wow

You seemed a little off last night. You were definitely in the early stages of tilt. I logged on at lunch today to play a tournament and saw you playing again. Did you play right through the night?

Well I don't think I've lost 100bb in 24 hrs but i did drop 1,800 over 3 weeks last month, so I know how you feel.

C ya in a week.

I played at Paradise a few hours last night and observed that you were at a $15 pot/15-20% flop $2/4 table for the entire time I was online (at other tables). Combine "game selection" tilt with "rough play at the table" tilt and you've got problems, huh?! I'm guessing the tilt started when a bad player or two laid beats on you and you decided to stay at the bad table to get 'em back. How close am I?

Yup, I'm rebuilding from a two-week long 150 BB crash. "I feel your pain." That "he's just bluffing" tilt can be the most sneaky and dangerous, IMO, cause it can go on for a long time without you noticing.

My favorite of that period went something like this:

I have AQs. Raise, two come along. Flop is Q62 rainbow. I bet, both call. Turn is 9, I bet, it gets raised, other player folds, I call. OK, maybe he's got Q9 or something. River is a K, I check, he bets, I call. He turns over 92s!! Sputter. . . . sputter.....

Sees yas in a week.
