There are various opinions. I personally can win depression. When I play I forget about my probs. Then I got extra energy from playing and can work real hard.

Depends on which definition of mentality you choose to use:

1. perceptual framework: a habitual way of thinking or interpreting events peculiar to an individual or type of person, especially with reference to the behaviors that it produces

2. intellectual ability: somebody's intellectual ability

If you are referring to definition number two I do not see how this could be true. However if you refer to number one it would most certainly affect them, whether negatively or positively may be difficult to ascertain without a comprehensive study on an individual basis.

Generally I do not believe you will be able to discern a negative impact on the majority of online gamblers. Several studies have shown any mental stimulation is healthy rather than harmful.

This question is vague to the extreme! How do specifically know that there is a negative influence? What kind of "negative influence" specifically? And how specifically do you define "mentality"?

Default Yes...now you can never leave

If you have an addiction then the nearest casino is possibly one room away.

If you dont have an addiction, I don't see a problem.
