Main villain would make this play on the flop with anything, is this the wrong play if I put him on a flush draw?

I would play it the same way, expecting SB to have a flushdraw and BB to have an ace. The only hands I would worry about here is AK and AQ.

I would at the very least throw out another bet on the turn.

1) It would charge him more to chase his flush.

2) Checking behind on the turn may induce him to make a big bluff on the river, which would leave you in a tight spot because of your kicker.
