Default Keeping video files that expire... (Nerd Question)

Has anyone ever seen these video files that allow you to watch them for a certain amount of time, like a rental? How can I get around this and keep the film?

Film it with your digital video camera; re-upload to your computer?

You're SOL for now. DRM2 is pretty solid. Just go here and get a bunch of free codes for movielink. All you have to do is delete your cookies each time and use a different email address. I got about 75 download codes in 30 minutes or so.

The guy who wrote DeCSS cracked DRM1. You can give his software a shot here. Don't ask me how to use it, I haven't the faintest idea.

Japanese group info here

What kind of video file is it? It's not a TivoToGo file, is it (cause thats easy)?
