Default ICM questions

I need a kindergarten level lesson on ICM. Why to use it. How to use it. And how to understand it. I'm not a serious math person but I can find my way around. If you explain in in simple language I can get it.

Also there seems to be some negative response to a few posts from me and a few other newbies (to the forum not poker). Please be patient with us. And remember you were a newbie once also. thanks again to all who have so freely shared their knowledge and experience with me and my fellow noobs. I promise to stay at stars and away from your little pool of fish over at PP.
