cutoff with AJo
What would you do here? This is a $215 on Party. Im in the cutoff and the blinds will still be 50-100 when they hit me. Would it change your answer if they will be 100-200 when it hits me?

Re: cutoff with AJo
Or maybe I folded and want to know if that's way too tight? Or maybe I just called and wanted to know if that's too passive?! |

Re: cutoff with AJo
Curtains,
I've never played any SNG bigger than a 20, but in the games I play I'd push because in addition to FE, there's enought chnace I'll get called be a worse hand to make this +EV. I would expect that may not be the case at the 215s, so this response may be of little or no value. BLP |

Re: cutoff with AJo
forgive me for this question, but i'm am still new to SnG's and Hold'em. But if you would not raise to 4x blinds, why not push. Chances are, you have best hand. Right?

Re: cutoff with AJo
i think you may have misworded your question. but if i had 900 chips and would raise 4x bb, i would definitely push. im saying that if the blinds are at 1-2 i would push, but since they are .5-1, i dont need to push because i have time to work still and get a better hand.

Re: cutoff with AJo
If your image was still pretty tight I would push. The only thing holding me back would be I could survive the blinds and still have a bit of fold equity.
If there has been someone aggressive in front of me that would keep me from pushing later, that would make me more likely to push this one. If the blinds are going up to 100-200 before they got to me I definitely push. having ~600 after paying the blinds will make it much harder to win. The best reason for not pushing I guess is there are a lot of people still in, so you will see a good number of hands before the 100/200 blinds actually come rolling around. Pokerscott |
