This seems like an easy call with my inside straight draw and the nut flush draw. Anyone agree/disagree?. Also what about my preflop play?

Any advice/criticism is welcome and appreciated as long as its constructive

If you don't want people to have your handle, delete it from the hand history where it says you posted a BB.

Hand 1: Call. It's 180 more. There's almost 600 in there.

Hand 2: I cannot tell you how much I hate the min-raise with ATs. BB is getting 4-1 on his call and the limper is getting 5-1 (and, incredibly, folds in a play I hate also). That means that they are correct to call with practically anything. ATs is not strong enough that you don't want to maximize your chances of winning it preflop, so make it 200 to go and see if BB likes his hand enough to call off 1/4 of his stack out of position.

On the flop, I also call. You are better than even money to have a pair of jacks beat on the river, and he could even be semi-bluffing a worse draw.

The turn in Hand 1 is the worst possible card for you and I would strongly consider check/folding. On the other hand, his stack does indicate he kinda sucks so check/calling might be better. However, under no circumstances would I bet the turn.

In Hand 2, your minraise sucks (limp) but you must call the flop.

hand two your raise is way too weak. i would personally make it atleast 150 to go.

i would meet his all in and presuming he/she does not have AJ you have 3 more outs there. The pot odds are pretty good here.

Thanks to everyone who posted. It seems the consensus is to not min raise on AT. What hands would be worthy of a Min raise in such a position/level in the tournament?

I agree about the turn being the worst card for me in the first hand. Don't ask me why i bet, because i have no clue. I was probably just trying to run him over.

Thanks again guys

None. Why min raise? If you are going to raise, do it for real.

Ditto. A min raise gives the BB (or any limper) correct odds to call with any two (not that they would, but it would be correct if they did). This means that weaker players with loose limp/call standards are actually playing correctly because of the small size of your raise.

We don't want to make the others play "correctly" if we can help it.
