Default AK HU and FPS gets the best of me

I'm still waiting for pokertracker, so really no read other than he has done nothing to warrent a major read. To the hand.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed)

Hero is in MP1 with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

UTG limps, Hero raises, all fold, UTG calls.

Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Check, check

FPS, I know, but I figured I could raise the turn. I think it was the wrong decision looking back, but let me know what you think.

Turn: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

He bets, I raise, he 3-bets, I call.

River: Not a diamond.

He bets, I call.

How sloppy? Did I just get PF right?

If he's raising with 2 broadway cards, he either has a piece of the board (in which he will pay 2.5BB to show this down) or he has a gutshot. He will call the flop and maybe the turn with his gutshot. So checking the flop doesn't really do anything, but allow him to pay less for his made hand or draw for free.

Checking the flop only helps you against maybe 77-JJ. He might fold to your flop bet, but be willing to call down after you show weakness on the flop.
