Default Floped set with KK! Now why am I so dumb?

Still stinging from my last session in which I flopped sets with AA, KK, QQ, and lost all three. But let's get down to business here.

UTG+1 is super-loose and raises a lot, kind of like Bill Clinton on Viagra. MP1 is tight/agressive.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, Hero raises, MP1 3-bets, 6 folds, UTG+1 calls, Hero caps, MP1 calls, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: (13.50 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG+1 bets, Hero calls, MP1 calls.

Turn: (8.25 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG+1 bets, Hero raises, MP1 folds, UTG+1 calls.

River: (12.25 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG+1 bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 14.25 BB

With the flop call I was hoping MP1 would raise... Foolish?

Now what about that river?

Thanks in advance,
-Grendel
