Default A couple of AA hands

1)
How should I've played this AA ?

Should I've folded when he called my reraise?

What about this AA hand?

Should I've not bet on the flop in an attempt to keep a few people in?

dude,

let me preface my response by saying that i have read many hand posts but this is my first reply...take it for what it is worth.

1) looks good to me. without any other reads on the player i think you have to play it out. if the spade hit the turn and not the river perhaps you could have folded but you had to call him down.

3) i don't think you could have extracted any more bets. with the two flush on the board you had to bet out. too bad no one had a hand.

cheers,
the Real Macoy

Hello from Vancouver, Macoy.

Hand 1:
Not reraising preflop is a serious mistake here.
ALWAYS RAISE/RERAISE AA PREFLOP!! That's like E=mc^2. It's a universal law!
I like how you played the flop, turn and river.
Jack could complete a flush or a straight, good check/call here.

Hand 2:
Well played on all streets.

You definately 3-bet hand number, that forces out the flush draw that may have eventually beaten you (or atleast it should have). Other than that, I think you played that hand fine... check/calling when the flush card comes is fine, as it may force a player who would otherwise fold to spew a bet at you.

2) you can check the turn if you want to, it may get an extra BB out of him, as you have the nuts. If he were to be in a check/call mode though, you would have lost a bet. I think I like to just bet out.

Yeah!

Button was holding TT.

Besides a PFR should I've played it differently?

I lost to the Button who was holding TT.

I don't think he would've given up, but I guess you are right I still should've tried a PFR.

I guess sometimes you lose no matter what.
