i think you have to 3 bet the flop. He knows there is a very small chance you have the queen so is trying to represent it. You also gain information by his response to your 3bet.

If I had a pair 66-TT I would play this flop the same way (ie. check raise) to see where I was at.

The turn is scary and depending on the betting ie if you are check raised again, or bet into I might just call, and check/call the river

OK..I was praying for the Jh...obviously.

Anyway, on the turn I was thinking just about either of the scares he was representing hurts me, the flush or the queen...kind-of felt like it was over at that point.

3-bet the flop.

The rest of the hand plays differently from there.

3-betting the flop is the way to go. Why fold on the turn? Just because he check-raised you assume he has a flush or a queen? People raise with a lot more than that. I'd call this down.

Exactly. If I were the villain, I'd have played any middle (or even low) pair the same way. - or even X,5

Thanks....guess I gave this away...

One thing I failed to mention was that villian did play cards pretty straight up. I hadn't really seen him make any "moves".
