Default Weakly played JJ on AAX flop

Ugh -- didn't know what to do here. I was worried that someone was trapping. Should I put out a feeler bet on the Turn after the Flop is checked through or just bet the Flop?

yeah i think the turn calls for a probe bet, you dont have enough information here and you need to find out.

i'm a newbe but i lay out a bet on the flop to get info and to chase off hands like KQ which might outdraw you. if you get raised i would trash the hand (maybe too weak? but it's early stil). more then one caller= slow down to me. one caller might try another "little" bet on the turn (looks like you want a call and u could have the ace, if not and they raise you will lose less, and also usually prevents getting bluffed out of the hand

because you asked if there should of been a bet on the turn, and my answer is yes if you have not bet the flop then your are going to have to do it sometime.
yes the probe bet is better on the flop to answer your question.

I think you bet the flop here.

If you give another card, who knows what could happen. And only 2 cards help you.

Do we want to bed the pot on the flop here? Or half the pot? And why?

a probe bet or information bet should be around 30-50% of the pot and the continuation bet should be around half the pot, then you would only need to win one-third of your bets to break even. at the same time not giving drawing odds to your opponent (in most cases)
